Eric and I usually juiced 2 times a day. In the morning we would do a fruit juice, and in the evening we would do a vegetable or veggie/ fruit juice. In between, water, vegetable broth, or herbal decaffeinated tea. This just a guideline, obviously between you and God. We would also add maple syrup and cayenne pepper to our water or sugar free juice verry deluted with water for extra energy and flavor.
Do’s
-
Do use fresh fruits and vegetables
-
Do drink lots of water
-
Do drink herbal decaffeinated tea
-
Do drink Vegetable Broth
-
Do use Psyllium in your fruit juice in the morning (Psyllium keeps your bowels moving and passes toxins faster and takes some side effects away)
-
Do pray when you are hungry.
-
Do set a time to spend intimate time with God
-
Do rest if you are tired and are able
Do Not
-
Do not drink juice with sugar added ( It will give you the jitters)
-
Do not drink caffeinated or alcoholic drinks
-
Do not chew ice or gum ( chewing sends signals to your brain that you are eating which can cause your stomach to rumble and break down the lining of your stomach when there is nothing to digest)
-
Do not just not eat without spending time with God.
-
Do not fast to loose weight or the health benefits, while both will happen naturally, if that is the motive for your fast, you should not fast.
