I have been wanting to post this for a while. Since we have been talking about the local church in our care groups, I just have to express my love for our church. You all have been a tremendous blessing. Never have I felt such family in church. Truly, I am thankful that God has blessed me with you all. The encouragement, the care, the correction and the ways you have used your God given gifts has been a blessing to me and my family. I am so glad God has brought you into my life, as I know I am much better with you then without you all. God’s plan for the church is such a great one!
Where else can community and family be lived out in such a way then in the local church. I do love the church universal, but there is a special place in my heart for the immediate family that I have in my local body
I totally concur with Charles Spurgeon in this
“If I had never joined a church till I had found one that was perfect, I should never had joined one at all. And the moment that I did join it , if I found one, I should have spoiled it, for it would not have been a perfect church after I had become a member of it. Still as imperfect as it is, it is the dearest place on earth to us.”
Thank you Saints for bearing with me in love. Life Jon and Kate plus eight say” It is not a perfect life but it is our life” I am so thankful to be a part and look forward to many years to grown together with you as well as to see who else God may bring into our flock
Grace to you,
Laura
